Rochester Fringe Festival Performance September 15 & 16, 2026

Thank you to the ESL Rochester Fringe Festival and Biltmore Bar & Lounge for including my new show, “Polishing My Craft - Songs set to Poems by Martha Kelch,” in this year’s festival.

Documentary Video Coming Soon!

I have been working with Sean Healy at Lightly Salted Productions to create a 10-minute documentary video about Martha’s poetry and the song project. Release is expected in Fall 2026!

Live Performances

A live show is the best way to experience Bennie’s songs set to poems by Martha Kelch. A one-hour set takes listeners on a journey across a range of emotions.

What Audiences Have Said

“A brilliant performance! I laughed and moved and felt wowed.”

“A stunning performance!”

“It was a lovely reminder of why original music matters.”

“There is something special about witnessing an idea, a poem, a memory, or a feeling transform into a song and then finding its way into the world. Congratulations, Bennie, on this meaningful project.” - Marye Lobb, Rochester-based singer-songwriter
